NLP Hypnosis
If NLP remains to be a mystery technique or a mystery science for most, so does Hypnosis. Put both of them together, that is talk of NLP Hypnosis and you have a confusing experience indeed. A lot of research definitely has been conducted on hypnosis and some findings have emerged. One thing comes out from these findings – Hypnotherapy works but how it works, nobody ever knows. Thus, there is a lack of scientific evidence to the working of hypnosis too. This makes understanding NLP hypnosis an interesting aspect.
While scientists all round the world are trying to demystify NLP Hypnosis, practitioners of these arts are busy carrying on tackling one problem after the other. The use of hypnosis in almost curing problems like smoking, loss of confidence and sleep disorders are well documented already. In essence, it is only fair in saying that NLP Hypnosis can turn out to be one of the best self-improvement techniques.
So, what comes first – NLP or hypnosis? This question begs to be asked because most of us talk about these two different things in almost the same breath, which could lead to a lot of confusion. Let us get one thing clear – NLP Hypnosis is not one concept though it may sound like being one. Hypnosis originated long before NLP techniques were even being spoken of. If researches have to be believed, NLP originated some time in 1930s, or at least, during that time it received its first share of popularity. Hypnosis, if one has to be believed, is a rather ancient technique.
There is another fascinating point to talk about when we speak of NLP Hypnosis. While NLP was very popular to begin with, it slowly began to fade away with time. With time, the models of NLP techniques became the subject of criticism of a lot of people. While all that happened with NLP, Hypnotherapy has always had a steady maintenance of popularity. Though it did not start of with a bang like its competitor, it has for quite some time now, been a popular self-improvement technique.
The fusion of NLP Hypnosis has been the subject of interest of a lot of people’s discussion. Simply put - In hypnosis, you have a technique that lets you take care of a solution to the problem. In NLP, you have a method which identifies the cause of the problem, analyzes it and forces a change.
If NLP Hypnosis can’t be considered as an effective problem solver, what can?
